What is a P.L.Eng.?
Previously referred to as an Eng.L, or “Engineering Licensee” by the Engineers & Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC), a P.L.Eng. is short for “Professional Licensee Engineering”
One of the key differences of a P.L.Eng. from a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) is that a P.L. Eng. has a formal scope of practice that must be adhered to.
A P.L.Eng. is empowered to provide all of the services of a P.Eng within their scope of practice. Sean’s scope can be accessed using the button below.
